How do you dry a bouqet of roses?

Question:

Answers:
take all but a few of the leaves off, then hang them upside down in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. You can either do this to each individual flower or as a group, just remember that if you dry them as a group they will need to stay thet way or they will look funny. They will need to hang for about 2 weeks, then you will be able to display them indefinitely. Also, spraying them with hairspray after they are dried will help them last longer...use aerosol, not pump

Hang still pliable rose upside down til dry. Spray with hair spray or laquer. (don't wait til the rose has fallen over) Save some babies breath it dries as well. I hang them upsidedown, but you can put them in a vase. I hang them upside down with clothes pins, pants hangers, chip clips, my hubbies wood clamps, whatever I can find. I just dried my mother's day bunch.
I have been growing and drying roses for years...the easiest way..is to hang them upside down for a few weeks..depending on size... timing will vary, be sure not to bunch them together or the air flow will make the drying process longer...wait until they are COMPLETELY DRY...than just spray them with cheap hairspray...my daughters think its so cool how they look..."petrified".hope this helps...
