In the UK - getting quotes for £2,500.00 for sliding mirrored wardrobes is this about right?
Question:really struggling to get a decent quote for mirrored sliding doors (don't care if they are not sliding anymore) I want them floor to ceiling with hanging rails on 1 side & cupboard space on the other side, they are 2 large double wardrobes.
We live in Essex does anybody have any tips on where to go, we have tried options MFI & sharpes.

£2.500.00 wow where are you looking. I know that retail therapy is expensive but the world is at your finger tips so my solution is start typing and use the net.
Thats expensive, in ikea they sell wardwobes that in my home they go floor to ceiling and they cost me £900 and look like they are fitted wardrobes, worth a look.
Bloody hell two and a half grand !! Do they have cocaine still loaded on the mirrors?
When I lived in the UK, I bought the doors and made the rest up myself for about £600 all in. I am sure you could get someone to do something similar for a lot less than you have been quoted.
Try a DIY store,i know 'focus' does them and they show you how to fit them.
That sounds extremely expensive. I live in the north of England and paid £750 for floor to ceiling with four large mirrored doors anodised gold colour(4ft wide each one), hanging space, storage space and room for a safe. Try B&Q they do some very nice doors and tracks and will give you names of trademen who can fit them for you.

Look in Yellow pages, and just ring some carpenters
No! that is too much I would say,we have just had a quote and it is nothing like that.
