In UK, have you had a conservatory built? Do you recommend it?
Question:
Answers:
If exposed to afternoon sun, they become too hot on summer days, and are cold in winter. I had one, but replaced it with a brick-built extension; 20 years on, I am happy that I did.
Yes, it gives you another room, either as a summer room with wicker chairs etc , or a store room like mine, either way, do it.
you wait unti it rains it sounds like the mexican army advancing
rain on a conservatory roof wakes everybody up
I haven't but a good friend has. She now lives in it, to escape her boring, drunken husband. It is her liittle "haven".
if your wanting an extra room or to put value on your house build an extension instead , i mean if the weathers that nice sit out side instead of sweating in a green house, conservatory's are a waste of money and are a source of many problems
Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, but if you get one then make sure you get blinds, they get so hot that a bar of chocolate melts xxx
depends on size of property you are adding to,not good if you like candles like me,they melt in the sun, nice for added space,-----prefer to have proper extension-just as pricey
