Are there any safe pesticides/insecticides?
Question:i live in an apartment complex and our neighbors have a serious bug problem, so unfortunately, so do i. my husband is being stupid and continues to buy extremely poisonous sprays and bombs. i am 8weeks pregnant, and have a 1, 2, and 5 year old, and it not safe at all to use it around them. does anyone know of any safe insecticides/pesticides i could buy at a store, or online, that i could use?

You can also try doing an internet search on insecticides you can make at home. Most of them just contain hot pepper sauce.

Your husband is only being semi-stupid. To use these chemicals is the right thing to do, but you and the kids need to be put some wheres else for the night. ps the "safer" insecticides only work for a short amount of time. Happy bug killing!
As far as bug bombs go, there is not a safe one, you just have to get out of the house for a little while. However, there is a real bug spray called Spectracide, you can buy it at WalMart. It is poison, but it will only harm people or pets while it is wet. It is safe to spray around kids, you just have to keep them out of the way until it dries. The label on the back will give you alot more information. This stuff is some of the most effective stuff that I have ever used. I have a 3 year old and my wife is pregnant, and I have used this stuff with no problems, I wouldn't use it if I thought it would hurt anything.
you did say what kind of bugs but a product called diatomacous earth not the kind for swimming pools put the power in the bugs path so they get it over their body it get in their joints
boric acid.... also called hydroboric acid.
