What equipment do I need to sew denim?


Question:I want to be able to sew the back pockets down on my jeans so they don't flip up in the wash. I have a Janome sewing machine. What type of needle, thread, and foot do I need? Thanks in advance, everyone.

Answers:
Any sewing machine will sew denim. Just go to a fabric store and buy any heavy duty needle. Or, tack them with needle and thread.
