Is there a Air conditioner unit with a width smaller than 15"?

Question:I have a "Fire Window" in my bedroom and it doesnt open up down it opens on its side, and the window when its fully open only leaves about 15" (inches) or less of room, and i cannot find any good (5000-5200 BTU) ACs for for under $120... does anyone know of any sites that may sell them?

Another question... My window is about 5 feet tall, would would be a good very cheap insulator to cover that?

have a narrow window opening you might want to try something like this. I rent a vacation house and use one of these myself.

My Dad just got a small but very effective air conditioner from Home Depot. Check with them.

RE: the window, get a sheet of that foil covered foam stuff to cover it, sorry can't remember what it's called.
