Tomatoes and the blooms drying up?


Question:i have 2 nice size tomatoe plants and i seem to have a problem with the blooms drying up why?Also I was told that I should prune the bottoms ot her plants so the nutrition goes to the blooms is this true?

Answers:
You should prune the shoots that grow out of the main shoot. Are they getting pollinated? If so you may can try some hormone spray that they sell to help set fruit. You could also not be getting enough sun or have a problem with your soil.
