Portable air conditioner how well do they work?

Question:i have a room about 150 sq. ft. (10x15 aprx) and the window in this room is not fit for a regular AC, and was wondering do they potable ACs work well, and if they do would they work in a room with two computers (two towers, two monitors) and a surround sound system that lets off alot of heat?

Answers:
I have a portable unit, and it works great in a room that is about 325 sq. feet. They usually have all types of different adaptors for the exhaust hose, so as long as your window opens, it should be fine.

ps it's an 8500 BTU unit.

h nitrogen - the portable unit I have uses a flexible plastic hose (like a clothes dryer vent hose). If there is any way of venting the heated air outside, you can use it, but it might mean cutting a 4" hole in the wall.

You need outside exposure for the unit to dump the heat it removes from the room. So portable is out. ~
The above might work...
DOnt know but Ive looked at them. Too expensive for now. What I want to know is how can I use them in a room with no windows
