Seattle, WA neighborhoods?

Question:What are the good to best neighborhoods in Seattle to live in? I'm thinking of moving over there, but I want something that isn't high crime or high commercial.

Answers:
I live in and love Shoreline! It has one of the best school districts around. I heard bellevue was pretty good too. anywhere but lynnwood (also nicknamed Lynnhood). their school district sucks and is so poor that Lynnwood High school would literally sink into the dirt if the power went out for more than 10 minutes (they built it over a swamp but now they're building a new building that will be finished in 2009).

Magnolia is great, but pricey. A fixer-upper might cost about $500,000. It is close to downtown, with good bus service.

Queen Anne is OK too. If high school is important, ask a lot of questions. My granddaughter may have to spend a half your to 45 minutes each way this year, and maybe an hour next year.
