most furniture stores have aused part and they will sell you the box spring and mattress for really cheap maybe 100 or less. when they move new furniture in to peoples houses they take the old out aand resell and you can sometimes get a mattress for alot cheaper and most look and feel really goos> just ask to see there usedd inventory.
I dont know how much they cost. but, my chiropracter told me that the best type of mattress is a firm with pillow top. please dont get used ones!
If you're trying to get buy with as little $ as possible, consider an Aerobed. I think they will be more comfortable than a cheap mattress.
The classic full size is $160. Look for coupons in the mail from Bed, Bath & Beyond to bring it down a few bucks.
I've got a queen size one that has survived visits from couples with combined weights of well over 500 lb, so I consider it very sturdy.
Let me say that I had the same problem youre having. I wanted a good mattress that will help me achieve a good night sleep but would be too expensive. So I did some comparison shopping and the mattress that I ended up buying was a TempurPedic. It is SOOO comfortable and only ended up costing me about 250 (after shipping charges)!
Go to a used furniture store, they sell mattress' there really cheap. When my hubby and I were first starting out, we bought a king size mattress set for $50. The person before me said that they bought a temper-pedic bed for $250? I don't think so! Those cost over $1,000 just for a full size mattress. The temper-pedic mattress are really comfortable and they will let you finance one for like $45 a month for a full size.
Consider firm talalay latex with a wool fleece pad.
