Pick up some Mole Killer and follow the directions or you can use a mole trap. I have a "mole killer" that is alive; a Jack Russell Terrier that just loves to dig them up and kill them. The mountain people where I live call the Jack Russels "varmit dogs."
An effective way to get rid of gopher's is to put a large wad of hair into their hole. Take your mom or wife's hairbrush remove the hair from it and stick it in the hole. The gopher will choke on it and probably die in the hole. If you have a bunch of holes already and assume there are many gophers try Co2 compressed air or another type of gas that will asphyxiate the gophers simultaneously.
Gas them out. You can buy an attachment to put on your lawnmower or hook a hose up to your car an put it in the ground.
