Need info on houston!!?

Question:i am looking to relocate to texas.i was looking at houston(currently live in california) And i was wondering why are the houses so cheap!Is the job market terribe.will my house appreciate.Please tell me.Best place to live in that area as well.

Sugarland. The houses are "cheap" because you live in California. Most houses are cheap compared to there. Just be ready for more rain and hot temps. No earthquakes though.
