Help. My house and my neighbors homes are getting taken over by little ants.?
Question:We are clean people. We spary and set out traps,but nothing helps. Please help. we are going out of our minds!

Try using a littlle grape jelly, mixed with 3 parts boric acid. Put into a dish, near where the ants are coming in. 1 part jelly, 3 parts boric acid. Works great! Regards-Bob.
keep anything sweet in plastic containers. Wash everything with vinegar water. Ants hate vinegar. I bought some liquid bug killer that you can spray inside and out to keep ants and other bugs away. It really works. Sorry I can't remember the name. I bought it at home depot. It was a clear bottle. It's keeps bugs away for 6 mths. It's safe around kids and pets after it dries.

I made the mistake one time of grabbing the wrong "insect" spray and instead I grabbed the EndDust furniture spray. Killed 'em deader than doornails - instantly. Careful where you spray tho, it will soak into a concrete floor or patio, but if you use it around the edges, perfectly fine. If you spray on the floor or in the cabinets, wipe it off as it will be slippery. That is the only thing I use - never have ants anymore. Lucky mistake on my part!!
You must be from a southern state,I have the same problem so I bought a liquid bug killer from Walmart's at a resonable price Spectricide Bug Stop and it works,you spray the areas where ants happen to be and the ants will be gone for at least 3 months before you need to spray again
have you tryd a spray called home defense by ortho i have the same problem with black ants i spray around my windows and doors and along my baseboards about every four months
We had a huge ant problem every summer at our old house this is what I did.there is this product in the store that you stick in the ground next to the ant hills around your home. It has a small round mettle disk on the top and it is filled with some kind of sticky gel. The ants take the gel back to there homes and kills all the ants and their eggs. It really works I just wish I knew the name of it. It looks like a mettle lollipop with a small hole in the middle. If you have a Chinese market in your town they have this chalk you use to draw on the line of ants that march into your house. It is non toxic but it kills all the ants that come into contact with it. These methods are not harmful to pets and the kids that's why we use it.and it doesn't smell either.
