Is there a way to speed up the drying time of a caulking project?

Question:I used tub and tile caulk around a tub and the drying time is 36 hours. Is there a way to speed up that drying time-like with a hair dryer or something?

Answers:
36 hours has to be for a "full cure" of the caulk. It should skim over or be dry to the touch in 20 min to an hour. You should be able to use it in 6 -8 hours, unless it is really thick. Push gently on the thickest part, if it is firm you should be OK.

Do not use heat to speed things along. Do make sure that there is some air movement, perhaps with a fan. Try to keep moisture down as much as possible.
