How do I get rid of a big piece of glass?
Question:I had this really big picture fram and one day I took it off the wall to change what was in it. Well. the four outline pieces fell apart so now I am left with a big piece of glass. How do I get rid of it. DO I just break it into smaller pieces. Do I recycle it. My recycle can say glass but I don't know if clear glass is okay. I thought it was just green and brown. Thanks

i would make a phone call to the sanitization department. you might have to tape up the back with duct tape. they'll tell you. it's good that you're responsible in disposal. so on behalf of the environment i wanna say thanks. everyone needs to have that sense
Stick it out for recycle
I would break it and then get rid of it but caution should be used for safety sake.
Habitat for Humanity may accept it, they have some resale stores that have mirrors, glass, doors, windows, etc
It should be fine in your recycle bin. If not, put in your trash can and break as previously suggested .. don't forget to protect your eyes!
