Flying ants taking over MY pool?

Question:I love nature.
But I don't like ants.
Especially in my pool whilst i'm trying to sunbathe on my floaty.
There are TONS that land in there. I'd be worn out if I continued to skim them out the ENTIRE time i'm in the pool..
What can I do to keep the ants out of the pool while i'm in it?
& do they bite?

Answers:
It shouldn't be too long before the swarm is over. What you are experiencing is ants looking for a new home and in need of water. Any amount of water around the area is going to attract them until they are done swarming. Since they aren't a returning critter like frogs, bees, etc, there's really nothing you can do but wait it out.

Get a kiddie pool and set it up somewhere close to their nest if you can find it. That's a toughie hon, hope you get them controlled.
