Question:plz dont say hydrogen peroxide i hav no clue what it is!!
Answers:
Another trick that they use in hospitals to get rid of blood stains is Saline...which is just salt water. Soak a cloth in Saline and gently rub/dab the material until stain is gone. You didn't say what material the couch was made of but the Saline works wonders on blood stains.
I hope this was helpful,Good Luck! :)
Hydrogen Peroxide would be in a brown plastic bottle, in your medicine cabinet. It's used on cuts to disinfect.
get hydrogen peroxide on it right now.
Let it do it's work , then blot it up
Repeat if needed.
(works on clothing also)
good luck
Try vinigar mixed with automatic washing machine powder and fabric conditioner. Its what my partner used on ours and it worked.
You rub it very gently it might take some time at rubbing it and keep rinsing the cloth but it worked on ours when my partner had that accident
try peroxide
you could try zout, it's a laundry stain remover, it works great on clothes, i don't see why it wouldn't work on a sofa
go to your local pharmacy and ask where the hydrogen peroxide is.
that would work for blood stains.
try peroxide
I'm with the vicar...we don't need that much detail...no wonder you don't know what hydrogen peroxide is.sheesh!
Zout stain remover works really good on blood stains. It even took some old blood stains out of clothes. Run to Wal-mart an get some.
depending on what material your suite is you need to get kitchen roll on the damp patch then a little warm water with some stain remover or a few drops of vinegar. gently dab on the patch for a few minutes. put some kitchen roll on patch and press firmly then lift off and the stain should have gone. but if you have a vax use the cleaner out of that it works wonders
Use only COLD water to get blood stain out.Just keep swabbing it and mopping it with kitchen-roll.Hydrogen peroxide will take the colour out
Cillitt Bang and it will burn the stain off!!
Blame the dog, allways a good get out.
Have had a look on the web for you. some advise to use white wine vinegar but the majority (I'm afraid!) say to use hydrogen peroxide.
Here is tip I found most relevant to your situation:
'Removing blood stains from fabric - To remove fresh blood stains from fabric, dab the stained area with hydrogen peroxide on a cloth or paper towel. You can get this product at any drug store. The stain will lift right out and not discolor or damage the fabric'.
I have put the link below so you can read the other tips.
good luck!
For any blood stains it is important that you use cold water first otherwise it will set and you will never get it out. The only difficulty I can forsee is where it is. Can you remove the covers because this would make it a lot easier, you could then immerse it in cold water and then wash gently, although without knowing the material it would be hard to predict if it would shrink. If you can afford it it may be better to get the experts in, Good Luck.
