Is the Plumeria flower used to make the Plumeria scents we use in products?

Question:I love the smell of Plumeria but have never smelled an actual Plumeria Flower so do they use the actual Plumeria flower to make the scents we use like in our air freshners, perfumes, soaps ect ect?.. I would love to plant some Plumeria Flowers if they smell similar to the scents they sell in the store so do they?

Answers:
For the most part, yes the actual plant is used in sents in many products. Sometimes they use synthetic products to match the sent of the actual plant. Look at your local nursery see if they have any in stock, if not they can usually order them for you, or you might be able to find them online.
