What is the name or type of the 1946 southern bungalow I own?

Question:I grew up in North Carolina, where there are tons of these houses, and nearly every home in my middle-class neighborhood was a variation on this style, but I can't figure out what movement or company first built them. The houses are on a raised foundation, more deep than wide, and have a double gable in the front, wide eaves. They usually have L-shaped covered porches that wrap around the living room, which always has windows facing onto the front porch, and two smaller windows flanking a fireplace an the side porch. The smaller gable is a few feet forward of the other, and this is usually the location of a bedroom or den that opens into the living room. The living room has a wide opening intoo a large dining room, and beyond the dining room is a kitchen, often with a breakfast nook containing a booth. The other two bedrooms are located off of a hallway accessed through the dining room (sometimes a door from the living room as well). The single bathroom is also accessed from this hall.
