Installing a patio, can someone tell me what the product is called you use?

Question:between the stones? Not regular cement grouting but I heard there is a newer product out there that you literally pour between the stones and then just wet it down with the hose and it hardens up like grout. I also heard some are sold with pesticides to keep the damn ants from carrying away all the sand under the stones. Is either of these things true, if so what is the product? Thanks

Answers:
I have not heard of this product. Normally, sand or cement mix ( watered afterwards) is swept into the cracks to hold the stone in place. Problem with cement is that if you live in a cold winter area, the ground can "heave" when freezing temps come and break the hardened product.

Looking for a lazy way out?? Not surprised, but be honest with yourself, the patio will never get installed-
