Answers:
You have did the right thing. Especially if you don't know the people; some people don't take very kindly to their neighbor "telling" them what to do, even if you are asking nicely. If you tried to resolve it yourself, it could have turned into more than just fireworks going off. If you knew who it was and you were on neighborly terms to begin with, I would say go for it, which I have had to do on different occasions with a couple of our neighbors.
This is your home, your space, your safe haven. Don't worry about what you did...you did right.
You did the right thing. It's dangerous for everyone in the park if fireworks are coming down in the trees. It's nothing personal towards your neighbors...you are just protecting you home.
Totally did the right thing! I hope just in case you have some homeowners insurance! Some people just don't think, good move on your part. You may be saving more than just your home!
Yeah, you did the right thing. You have the right to not have your home burned to the ground. They need to find a safer place to light their fireworks. I would have done the same thing.
The exterior of most mobile homes are metal...
Even if a stray bottle rocket hit it I doubt it would do anything...Happy 4th..Geezer...
OMG.They set up 105mm Howitzers....Nevermind...I didnt know it was a fire for effect situation... I thought it might have been spotting rounds,or perhaps harassing fire...
But its plain to see these ten or twelve year olds have sent in the big guns.
I'd have done the same.
Very careless neighbor, I think s/he was ignorant or selfish.
i think you did the right thing... i live in the city, houses less than 10 feet apart... i'd call if crap was falling on me!
you did the right thing. that was wrong of them not respecting and invading your space
i would have done the same especially if your in city limits and if there is a burn ban, either way, my family and belongings mean more than neighbors
i think you did the right thing. who knows what could have happened if you didn't do anything about it.
You did the right thing, they might be mad but seems like they had the wrong kind of fireworks to be letting off in such a small area. We have already signed a paper in our neighborhood, because of forest fires, that we will not be lighting fireworks and it is a good thing bc we had a forest fire come really close this year-smelled a lot of smoke for days and it is very dry.
