Need Key Made From Existing Lock On Front Door?

Question:My sister changed the lock on the front door of my mom's house and refuses to give me a key (long story that I won't go into here)

My question is - can I call a locksmith and have them make a key from the exisiting lock that she put on the door?

Or would I have to have the locks changed AGAIN?

All I want is a key, I don't really want to change the locks again.

HELP.

Answers:
Yes, a locksmith can do that. He is going to want authorization from the owner of the house.

It's probably easier to have the locks changed. The question is, do you have the right to do so.
