It is called a: "Notice to Quit", go to Staples, Office Mart and ask for a Notice to Quit. It is a polite way to do it. You have to give this person a 30 day notice to Quit.
You have to have a very good reason. Do you have lease or rental agreement? Is it for a year or on a month to month basis?
If it is a year, you have to wait until the year is up, otherwise this person can sue you, unless this person is late on paying the lease or rent every month.
