Mushroom growing from grout crack in my home. is this a bad sign?

Question:i have noticed one grows even after i kill it with bleach. would sealing crack eliminate further growths?

Answers:
The mushroom growth indicates that the crack is retaining moisture. Use an old fashioned pointed can-opener and "plow" out the crack to remove all loose mortar and debris. Then, use a mortar sealant material to completely fill-in the crack. There are many types of mortar sealants available for use with a caulk gun, get one at Lowes, Home Depot etc. and completely fill the crack in. This should eliminate the problem.

yes and do it immediatly
If the grout crack is in the bathroom this means the wood behind it is still wet and you may need a contractor to come in and assess the situation.
