Generaly a yard ( of gravel) covers an area Officially is 3x3x3
27 cubic feet,) works out to an area 4 inch in depth by two to three feet across by eight feet long. it's been a while but I'm pr4etty sure thats the info most relavent.:)

Three Square Yards
depends on how deep you want your gravel .

a cubic yard is 3' wide by 3' long by 3' deep so if you wanted the gravel to be 3 feet deep you could cover 9 square feet.

if you only wanted it to be 4 inches deep it would cover an area 9' by 9' or 81 square feet in area.
3 cubic yards of gravel will cover about 300 square feet, 3" deep.
It really depends on how deep of a hole you are trying to fill. 3 yards will fill up a pickup bed about three times. It looks like a lot more in the bed of a truck than it does when you start to spread it out. To fill two parking spaces, you'll probably need twice that amount, though that is just a guess. Good luck.
ahhhhh 3 yards. Measure out how much space you want to cover lets say its 9 feet by 9 feet each bag sounds like it cover 3 square yards so you need enough to cover 81 square feet or 27 squre yards so that mean u need 9 bags
3 yards would be 3 cubic yards. How much it will cover depends on how thick you want to go.

If you make it 3 inches thick, you will get about 100 sq. ft. coverage per cubic yard.

3 cubic yards will give you an area roughly 20' x 16' X 3" thick.
it depends on the gravel size ... gravel comes in many sizes/grades .. so depending on ur desired depth of gravel ... ( how thick ya want ur over-all lots ).. larger sizes may cover more than the smaller rock
A cubic yard is 3ft x 3 ft x 3ft. You'd probably want you depth for a parking spot about 4"; at that depth you could cover a 9' x 9' area with 3 cubic feet.
3 cubic yards of gravel will cover 243 square feet if the gravel is 4 inches deep.
Mark b, Julie and Daddy'o have their calculators sharpened up. If you spread your gravel three inches deep you will cover 324 square feet.
