if you only wanted it to be 4 inches deep it would cover an area 9' by 9' or 81 square feet in area.

It really depends on how deep of a hole you are trying to fill. 3 yards will fill up a pickup bed about three times. It looks like a lot more in the bed of a truck than it does when you start to spread it out. To fill two parking spaces, you'll probably need twice that amount, though that is just a guess.
