I need a nine foot billiard table moved out of my basement. It has a 3 piece slate top. Cost to do this?

Question:I am concerned that it will break the wooden stairs if movers try to carry it up. It was in the house when I bought it, and I don't know how they got it down there. So far, no mover wants to even try.

Answers:
They brought it on there in pieces. SO they would have to take it outa there in pieces. Im sure this isnt going to be cheap. But im not sure of exactly how much.

Bumpers unbolt. Cloth strips loose. Slate is bolted to the frame in 3 seperate pieces. Unbolt slate, knock down frame, move as parts.

Easy if you've done it. Call a billiard supply company; they probably have someone who can give you a price for knocking it down and putting it back up. Move should be easy; just make sure the slate is marked with a line so you can put the pieces back in the right places.
