Will standing water on my plywood floor rot the wood before I can get the roof up?

Question:I'm building a house and it's been very wet, I think there could be standing water on certain parts of the floor for a while until I can get the roof done, is this a problem? Will this rot?

Answers:
yes...put a tarp over it for now.

Unless it's marine-ply, Yes.
water exposure of plywood is always problematic...this is why the roof goes on after the rough frame then the floor comes in.
Yes you should replace the waterlogged but not yet rotting boards..good luck
It may dry out and not rot, the other problem is mold issues which are ten times worse than rot. Just get some heaters and dry the floor after you've dryed in the roof. The floor may warp, but it's fairly easy to replace plywood flooring.
It is a HUGE problem. Once the plywood is down your contractor should have tarped the roof.

Even w/o rot and mold you have problems with swelling, the house will longer be plumb. You are looking at a huge headache and bill that you did not count on.

You really need to get your contractor on the ball. You wood needs to stay dry, you can't even have standing water on cement w/o problems.
