Does any one know where i can buy empty egg boxes as cheap as possible?
Question:my chickens have just started to lay eggs and i need boxes to put them in so i can sell them also glass bottles with screw tops for home made juice too. trying to get a little extra cash. any help ?

My mum petitioned friends, family, friends of family - I used to take about 50 egg boxes with me every time I went to see her!
If you do that though don't forget that you mustn't use any boxes that are dirty (e.g. where the donater has put the empty eggshells into the trays after cracking the eggs!)
You could also place a request on your local Freecycle community - you'll have lots of people willing to help!

Perhaps you could ask at supermarkets. They may have some they would otherwise throw out. I know they're willing to give cardboard box's if your moving house and need some for packing.
You can always visit local restaurants in your area. Ask if their eggs are delivered in boxes. I know some may only carry liquid eggs but the majority of establishments are receiving fresh eggs. I'm sure a local diner would be willing to save the boxes for you. Hope this helps!
places near you that sell cooked food (restaurants ,pubs ,hotels) ,they use eggs and only throw out the containers after ,and they will have a plentiful supply ,it won't cost you a penny
So many people throw them away. Put flyers in peoples letter boxes asking them to save them for you. Tell them you'll collect once a week. It's surprising how many people would do that for you. Try it.
