This is my first year with a garden. I have alot of left over seeds. Can I keep them till next year?

Question:

Answers:
Yes you can. Some seeds found in the pharaohs tomb sere still viable! I have some that are 5 years old and they are fine. Germination decreases over time though, so I plant 3 seeds instead of one. Keep them in a cool, dark, dry place, like a basement. Some people add a few pieces of uncooked rice to the seeds to help keep the seeds dry.
Good luck!!

Seeds are typically a one year wonder. After a years time without germination, the seeds will sometimes sprout but not very well. You may run the risk of unhealthy plants by saving them. Your best bet is to get new ones from this years garden, and throw out last years. Good luck.
Yes : that is very important to save left over seeds for next
year
sure you can keep them fresh in a glass masonjar with the proper lid in the fridge, not all seeds store well some better than others, you'll have to experiment
Martha Stewart say seeds are good forever. That they tell us they aren't so we will buy new ones each year.
