2 apple trees, i grow every herb imagineable, garlic, strawberries, salad vegetables and loads of flowers.

Weeds do best of all in mine.
We bought our house last year from a lady who planted "Michigan Wildflowers" thru the front yard. Got rid of a manicured lawn to do this! Yuck. Weeds. So now, I have a groundcloth and mulch over that area. Am "growing" ceramic gnomes.
We have a veggie garden, raspberry bushes, and some spring flowers that were very pretty this year.

In my front garden they are shrubs / trees / and some flowers and in my back garden they are some apple trees / rose bushes and 50 hives of bees .
Lilies petunias, french marigolds, heather,lavender, sage I cant remember the rest just now, unless I go down and look.

I love gardening. I put tall perennials in the back like bee's balm and perennial sunflower. On the edge i put creeping phlox and little annuals like petunias. Inside is everything that catches my eye.
All of those + a lot of ornamentals which thrive in an acid soil.
