I bought a fruit called 'sharon. its orange. How do i ripen this fruit?
Question:Is this the same fruit ...starts with the letter "P" (cant remember now) and if not ripen proberly it leaves a "fuzzy" like texture in your mouth?

Persimmon ? It's ripe when it's soft & doesn't rebound from pressing on it . You can also smell it. Little smell when not ripe . Just keep it at room temp., out of direct sunlight .

I think you're thinking of a persimmon. And yes, a Sharon is a variety of persimmon. However, you eat Sharon while they are still very firm. If you already knew this and still think it's underripe, then you can just let it sit on the counter for a few days. Also, they do not need to peeled. You can eat the skin and everything.
