BIG BEE problem neighborhood!!!?
Question:We are all overrun by wasps & hornets, nesting in odd places, small openings in patio covers, garden walls, legs of BBQS, very low shrubs, etc. Does anyone know of way to discourage them?? We have all used loads of bee killer sprays when find nests & have had many people stung!AWFUL SUMMER SO FAR! H E L P ! Also nests begun inbetween cardoors & fenders of cars used daily! What is going on?

there are these yellow cones you can buy at any store with a garden area. Wal-Mart has them so does Home Depot. I used to have the same problem and my daughter is allergic to them so we had to do something so she can play without getting sick. You can set out as many as you wish and the bug will die in the cone. If you start getting everyone you know to get these in their yards the bee problem will be less of a problem. I also have to take some on camp outs as well and I just put them in a very large zip lock bag when we leave. its the best way to take care of your problem and Oh they also for some reason love car door jams as well so watch out in that area as well cause they get into your car when your driving and they hate a moving car.
My first guess is they found a great food source, these critters are really good for us since the take care of pesky biting bugs. If you can move them, wonderful. I would say try not to kill them though
Big difference between bees, which are quite helpful, and not usually a problem, but wasps are. Keep plenty of the long shooting wasp spray handy. Must be a lot of spiders around, which is their main food. They also like standing water, to drink.
