This sounds pretty funny, but it's used in Mexico and it works. Hang baggies filled with water outside near the top of the door.
Another one is to have a fan blowing outward by the top of the door. It blows the flies out as they try to fly in. I've seen this a lot in California.
Make sure they don't have any small entrances, and take out your garbage frequently so they don't lay eggs.
before entering the house knock on the door to get the flies away then go in
Take out the garbage
