After the VFT flowers and is pollinated, the seed pods will start to form. Usually in 4 to 6 week the seed will be mature. VFT seed has to go through a stratification process before it will germinate. This can be accomplished by storing the seed in the refridgerator in a damp paper towel that has been moistened with distilled water. After about 8 weeks the seed will be ready.
