What does it mean when on the under side of the fabric the thread is really hairy? I dont know how to fix it!!

Question:(where the bobbin should be doing its work it is very loose and makes it appear hairy.)

Answers:
Actually I had this problem for ages and I tried everything, I adjusted all the knobs etc. In the end I discovered that it was the little screw in the casing where the bobbin goes before it gets in serted under the needle. Look for the tiny thing and tighten it with a small screw driver, not completely tight but tighter than it is now. It will tighten the stitches too.

Your bobbin isn't threaded or wound correctly, OR your needle is bent.
Whenever your sewing machine doesn't work right, always remember that the first thing to try is to rethread the machine completely, both upper and bobbin thread. If that doesn't work, try changing the needle. Sometimes the tip is broken or bent and you cannot even see it, unless you use a magnifying glass. Only after you have tried these things should you look further to adjusting the tension for the upper thread or the tension on the bobbin.
