Bath sealant?
Question:Hi there,i just fitte a new bath tub and theres a gap of about 1 inch all around where the bath should meet my tiled wall.I need help in what to use to fill that gap.I tried some bath sealant on a small area but found that it just fell into the gap.Should i use tile grout to fill it then use the sealant over the top of the grout ?

I had a big gap too. I went to a store like Home Depot, Lowes or a tile store. They sell edging. It can be a half inch wide or one inch wide. And about 6 inches long. I bought the one inch. Using the stuff to adhesive tile on the wall, I put it all around the gap and it looks great. Just be sure everything is very dry before you apply it.
You can go to your locak DIY store, B&Q, Homebase, etc.etc. and get some coving that goes across the gap between bath and wall. Make sure the edge of the bath and the wall are both dry and greese free than fill the bath with water, like you were going to have a bath, because the bath will drop slightly when its got water in. Fix the coving using some silica glue, get this from the same place and it can be white or clear. When the glue dries and the coving is fixed go over the edges with some silica filling which stops any water get through any cracks and gaps down the wall and on to the floor underneath your bath.
Simple answer is have bath fitted properly
