Construction Fireblocking question--how to re-seal after drilling holes for wiring?

Question:I am doing my own electric wiring, and after the carpentry folks put up the fireblocking where required, I had to drill a few holes for wiring. The holes are 1/2" to 7/8", drilled in the center of the 2 by 6 blocking. The 1/2" holes generally have one 12-2 wire running thru them, while the 7/8" holes generally have 2 wires...like a 14-3 and a 12-2.

I am assuming that I must re-seal this area with something (after the electric rough-in inspection), but what is the appropriate thing to use to seal them? This is in a detached garage and the fireblocking was required at the 10' level as there is a 16' high wall in the middle of the building. Thanks.

Answers:
You might try some fire caulk.
