Our house seems to have alot of Silverfish recently, what could've attracted them?
Question:Most of them appear around the toilet area where some can be found on the ground and sometimes on the ceiling. What could attract the amount of silverfish appearing in our house?

yes its caused by dampness. You really need to make sure your house is aired regularly. Keep a window slightly open when your indoors and after wiping surfaces make sure you dry them properly. You could get an extracter fan installed in your bathroom, this will keep the room dry.
it could be too much moisture. if your toilet sweats or your bathroom isn't vented that could be the problem. try putting a little fan in there to dry it out.
