Answers:
Put a strip of copper flashing material on your doorstep as a slug barrier.

Sprinkle one of these near entrances & in corners: sharp sand, lava rock, diatamaceous earth, cedar. These will cut & dehydrate the slugs, & eliminate them.

Sprinkle Chili pepper on slugs..

Place oat bran outside to kill the slugs before the get in. Also, you can trap them before they get in with any liquid fermented material, such as yeast disolved in warm water

Good luck! Hope this helps.

Put out a dish of beer and this will attract the little critters so you get the chance to lay the smackdown on them.
Put out a slug trap - beer in a jam jar
Soak your cloths in alcohol ( vodka or whiskey) and use them when cleaning tables and worktops. They hate the stuff.
get a product called slugo
put salt down near garden door, they wont cross it.
sprinkle salt every where in your house, it is fun to watch the slugs melt
Lay tracks of salt around doors and infected areas,i know it`s not nice but this will get rid of them for good.
Joe is actually right.so is the beer.
small shallow dishes with beer or grape juice in them will cause the slugs to go in and drown.
Lay them where you see the trails and at any area they could have entered and don't forget the plants in your home, place one in there too.or wrap a coil of copper wire around the plants loosely and that will give them an electrical charge.
Find the area in your home where it's very damp or moist and that is where the slugs are coming from - put course gravel around or near those areas and the slugs will get cut up when trying to cross the gravel - some salt sprinkled on top of that will also eat their flesh and kill them (but do not put in the plants).
I can't imagine slugs in the house but I did catch one last nite trying to enter thru an open door. You could lay the gravel at door entrances as well..they won't cross.
' have a book entitled "Great Garden Formulas" published by Rodale that has four pages of slug killing solutions. The one I like best is on page 91. It is called Slug-Dissolving Spray. Marianne Binetti of Washington State says that this formula is for slugs that are too small to handpick or be attracted to traps.
Ingredients and Supplies -- 1 1/2 cups nonsudsing ammonia, 1 l/2 cups water, 1 quart pump spray bottle
Directions -- 1. Pour the ammonia and water into the spray bottle. 2. Shake gently to mix. 3. Spray the mixture in areas where small slugs appear to be active.
Note: "It fries the skin off the slugs, but it doesn't hurt the plants, and the ammonia breaks down into nitrogen," Marianne says. She keeps a spray bottle filled with this solution by the back door so that it's always ready to use when she discovers slimy slugs slinking around in her garden.
The cheapest way is,to use regular table salt, spead it across the doorway,if they do cross it,it will dry them up...

Good Luck
educated snails what next
NO! Do not bring repellent indoors...put a lot outside garden gate and keep them away from your garden.
Salt does the trick but not sure how much you got hanging around you...err slugish!!
Snails and slugs are a nightmare! i have tried pellets , not a great success, I do know they hate salt! No good for the keyboard I know . I know that they are very attracted to the Alstramera plant and if you need to keep them away from your veg, plant Alstromera near , Like they plant roses in France to keep aphids away from the vines.. Then pick up and chuck away... a long way
put salt where they go and they will be gone within a week
slugs inside must be coming from the garden/outside somehow. We used to have a similar issue at my old house. After 6 months i got annoyed when i came into the kitchen late at night and found a big fat one on the kitchen counter. SO I grabbed a big tub of salt and went a bit crazy in the garden. I killed about 30 slugs in the garden. The garden looked a bit of a mess with melted slugs all over but we never saw a slug inside the house again.
Get a hedgehog - they love them.
all slugbait is poisonous be carefull
Just shot then saves time
Try putting glasses of beer around the house. They'll go init and drown.
in our old house we used to get slugs in the kitchen so i would clean the kitchen floor and put salt down where they would come in by washing machine round the unit and in front of door plate. if after uve done this say in mornin when u go back and its damp it means u just killed some slugs. i had to do this cos my cat kept findin slugs in his cat food. we paid about a fiver some slug repellent from b and q which also had a animal repellent in it to stop our cat from eatin it.
There seems to be a plethora of the little devils at the moment. by some slug traps and fill with beer they'll die happy also sprinkle salt in front of entrances to the house. I know everyone else has said this but these two methods do work
