How long do seeds usually take to germinate?

Question:when will i start seeing some little green plants in the soil? and what can i do to speed up the process?

what are some do's and don't when sowing seeds?

Answers:
depends, most plants one to two weeks, make sure the soil is loose and only cover most seeds about one inch, most plant seeds tell you how far apart on the package, water as directed, dry seeds dont' sprout too well

most plants take a week or two. What i always did was plant the seeds in a small pot. Then i got some clear sandwich wrap. and covered the lid of the pot. I usually got 80% of my seeds to sprout. Just keep the seeds moist, not wet, warm and sunny
