How do you get rid of gnats? They are invading my kitchen, my bathroom and now my bedrooms. What is the prob?

Remove all rotten things and dehumidify your house. That's the problem. Remove them by getting an exterminator in.

you have fruit flies... discard any veggies, fruit, potatoes, etc. in your kitchen. Did you forget an old potato under your sink or something? They are there because there is a food source. clean your kitchen and bleach everything and they will leave but you also need to regularly empty your trash in hot weather because flies lay eggs in your trash and that produces maggots YUK
With the popularity of organic foods the fruit flies will continue to be an issue. It is a relatively small thing to deal with considering the benefits. Purchase fruits and veggies in smaller quantities so they don't sit around, and if you have or can get a big counter top breadbox, use it for the fruit. You most probably have fruit flys, they are tiny flies mostly in the kitchen area. I had some once, it was the bananas I had. they come into your house with the fruits are produce you buy, they may not have hatched yet, but a few days later your house can be infested. I got rid of mine by washing real good all my fruits and produce coming into my house, I also got some fly traps, the kind you get at the feed stores, that just hangs and traps the little critters. They are real cheap and works. hope this helps.
Usually the biggest culprit is bananas, they come in with the fruit and seem to multiply. If you have them or other fruit sitting out, get rid of it.
