Why does Ty Pennington have a line of household products no one on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition can afford?

Question:Just curious why Mr. Pennington would put his face on a charitible work then turn around and charge higher than average prices for his line of products.

well for one thing, he GIVES them to the Extreme Home owners.I don't like his designs or colors...I bet he doesn't set the prices...Sears does...(besides which all 'designers' get more money for their designs.)
