if u have children b very careful with the acid thing.. but when i had mice i went to the nearest 99 cent store and brought glue traps. place peanut butter in the center just enough to tease them and i guarantee in 2 days or less maybe sooner the will be gone.. place where u see the droppings. along side the walls..
Get glue traps and place them around
boric acid will do it. Place it all around, it will kill the mice and any other pest too!
yeah glue traps work, but i had the same problem and my dog actually killed off most of them, LOL
You don't want to mess with glue traps. The mice don't die right away and you can't let them go once they've touched one of those things. Very nasty way to die.
D-Con is easier to use. The mice eat it and come out of hiding looking for better air. They actually suffocate from the poison. You just have to gather up the dead bodies.
You can also get a live trap and remove the mice (still inside the trap) to a field miles away.
Oh, and the last solution is to invest in a rodent go-away sound system that you just plug in to your outlets. It sends off a high frequency sound that bugs the hell out of mice, rats, squirrels, and bats. Pricier than the other options, but you don't have to worry about dead mice.
The mice around here laugh at traps . I use raid or other mice poison .(the cheese wedge shaped boxes. ) Place one under stove and any where else you have seen them that kids can't access. They work for me and never had any issues with them.
mouse trap's with some good stinky cheese.put em behind furnish er,in ya closet's & places like that.don't have to be the big one's the little one's will do.it's quick and they don't suffer. at lest i've never herd one strumming his or her little feet on the floor doing the dying jurks. now the glue stuff works alright, but thats kind of cruel.they starve to death. don't use poison,they crawl up in ya wall's and die and stink up ya house and ya have to live with it.now ya can breack down & git a cat,but that's crule too,becuse they like to play with em & abuse em before they crunch em & eat em,if ya ever watched one play with a wind up mouse ya know what i'm talking about. but if it's rat's and not mice that's a whole deffrent storie. the traps might not work.thats when i git out the old sawed off 410. its hell on the sheet rock and the old lady don't like it but it works. they don't suffer and they don't crawl up in the wall's and stink up the house.the doctor's say i'm just working out my delead vetnam sendrum. but i don't tell em they an't whiering straw hats and black pajamas. they';s just rat's but it's fun shoot'n em
