How do you sew tretch fabric together...the sewing machine isn't doing it right?

Question:

Answers:
One thing that will help is a ball point needle, it doesn't snag the way a needle for woven fabric does. If you don't have a stretch stitch, try gently stretching the fabric both in front of the needle and behind it as you feed it through. Try this on some scraps first, maybe also using a stitch length of 2.

Use a fine size needle if you have one and also try using a piece of paper between fabrics and just pull it out after you are done sewing. Sometimes you just have to hand sew it.
