I live in a apartment with no soft water, how can I get it??

Question:

Answers:
we have installed a water softerner recently and it is great! I was watching the plumber - it's very easy and you can even install it yourself with manuals that come with it. Only a water softeners could be pricey, and you have to keep buying salt for them - but this is a small sacrifice for a big luxury.
Here is the one we installed: http://www.simply-soft.co.uk/
But there are differrent solutions as well - like a magnetic water conditioner: http://www.waterimp.co.uk/, and also an electric one http://www.simply-soft.co.uk/watersoften... - I think every one of these solutions will suit different living spaces, just read through descriptions to find one that suits you. Also - if you want the soft water for bathing only - add some cider vinegar to your bath, it makes the water soft and good for the skin!

Try to convince the owner to install a water softener. But,it'll give the water a high sodium content (bad for heart patients). It'll also reduce corrosion in the pipes.
Depends what you want to use the water for. half a cup of washing soda in a bucket of water will do the trick.
