Answers:
Work from the back of the house to the front, cleaning from the top to the bottom. Start in the back room, dusting from high to low. Carry a trash bag around with you. Sweep stuff from vinyl and tile floors onto the carpet. Vacuum last.

Go to the pub for a few and when you get back the missus will have done it all!
Empty room or closet. Toss everything in it.
If you have a family, do the 2 minute clean up. Set a timer for 2 minutes (depending on size of house and number of people helping). And make sure to purge any items that are not used! Purge purge!! Less is better!
Keep it tidy at all times...
action!

It really depends on how big your house is.
I have 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, den, kitchen, dining room, & a basement.
It's very hard to keep the whole house clean by myself, so, what I do is work on one room a day. Sometimes that gets hard because by the time I finish the house,
It's time to start all over again!! lol
Oh, and 15 acres to take care of (which I do have help on that), I'm only 5 ft. tall and I can't reach the peddals on the riding mower.
