Does anyone know the best way to keep squirrels from eating my flowers, other than with a shotgun?

Question:

Answers:
Spray around the garden with an ammonia solution, they will stay away due to the smell. I had the same issue with pumpkins. I sprayed a 50% ammonia and 50% water solution on them and around the area. I couldn't smell it but the squirrels left my pumpkins and flowers alone and moved to the neighbors.

Place a squirrel feeder on your fence away from your garden. They go where the food is.
If your only going to look at your flowers and not smell them, put Cayenne pepper on the blooms. The little buggers can taste spicy stuff just like us.
