If you go to the bank it is any amount and they also sell them in most grocery stores in $25 increments. There is a fee associated with it, and it is 5.95.

I've purchased six in the last year and it does not usually cost a fee or anything to buy them. You just tell them how much you want put on them and they do it and you pay that amount.
Or you can buy the ones that are premarked to be $25 or $50 or whatever. You pay for it at the register and the cashier acivates it for you so it can be used.
Gift cards can be any value you wish to put on them, I think they have to be in whole dollars though.
