Is it okay to place plants under a grow light even if the plant is a great indoor, winter plant?

Question:I want to grow Amaryllis flowers in the winter but i am afraid they will not receive enough sunlight.

Answers:
Gro lights aren't all they're bluffed up to be. If you want to mimic sunlight, you need to use halide and hydroponic lights

I have two on my vines and they doubled in length since I put them up
