Do hot tubs have an emergency shut off if the water is too hot. MY water is @ 107 the jets won't work??
Question:

Every hot tub should be wired into a GFI breaker. Just trip the breaker.
The thermometer acts as the cutoff. You set the temp and it shuts off when it is reached. If it isn't shutting off at the set temp then it's probably broken.
yes try the GFCI in the main panel or at the sub panel - one should be located within a few feet of the tub. If that does n't work the buttons are sometimes operated off a smal air hose which could have come dissconnected.
Yes your hot tub has something similiar to a emergency shut off, its called a high limit sensor if the sensor is bad it could cause the hot tub to go into a mode that shuts the system down until it reaches the set temp (the temp that you have it set at) , you could also have a bad heater , if you have recently changed the water, and you didnt fill it properly you could have gotten a air bubble inside the heater and caused the the heater element to burn up. If your tub is in the direct sun ,or in a room with poor ventilation and its hot it will sometimes cause your tub to go into this type of mode. another question , does the tub have power going to it? just a few things for you to check out! Useaully the the high limit temp is set @ no more than 104 degrees. and when it gets 2 degrees aboveor more it shuts it self down until it reaches 104 degrees. hpe this helps a little.
try turn down the thermostat its in the control box or near the heater as for the jets check the pump
